Ambleside, in the English Lake District National Park,
provides a beautiful setting for this Society,
which was formed in 1942

The Society runs a yearly programme of entertaining and instructive events, including:

  • Ambleside Daffodil & Spring Flower Show (2 days in March)
  • Ambleside Summer Flower & Craft Show (3 days in July)
  • A winter series of evening events and talks
